Hidden Voices is a curated platform celebrating independent authors.
We feature writers, showcase books, share essays about the indie journey, and help readers discover meaningful stories outside the traditional publishing system.

How do authors get featured?

Authors can submit via our forms to:

  • Be a Featured Author
  • Share a Book Spotlight
  • Contribute an Indie Life essay

We select submissions aligned with our editorial mission and values.

Is there a fee to be featured?

Yes — after our initial launch period.
Features require editorial work, time, and platform upkeep.
Fees will always be fair, transparent, and communicated before confirming your slot.

Authors keep 100% of their book royalties.

Do you guarantee book sales?

No platform can guarantee sales.

Do you accept all genres?

We consider a wide range of genres, including:

  • Fiction (all genres)

  • Graphic novels & illustrated work

We do not accept AI-generated books or unethical content.

Can I submit more than one book?

Yes — we may schedule them at different times to offer fair exposure to all authors.

When will features be published?

We currently aim to publish:

  • 1 Featured Author per week
  • Several book spotlights per month
  • Regular indie life essays

Publishing frequency will grow with the community.

How does payment work?

You keep 100% of your royalties and sales.
Hidden Voices charges a feature fee only (no commission).

Do you offer refunds?

Features are non-refundable because they involve editorial preparation.
However, rescheduling requests will be handled with care whenever possible.

How are authors selected?

We look for:

  • Authentic voice
  • Original storytelling
  • Emotional depth or thematic strength

Perfection is not required — heart and voice matter most.

Can I pitch collaborations or ideas?
